Use the licensed AkahOS web app in a modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad. Internet access is required to open the paid application so AkahOS can verify the active license and securely provide the protected application logic. The purchase itself does not expire and there is no recurring subscription fee.

License key activation

Your purchase unlocks the product on up to two active devices. Deactivating a device frees the seat immediately, but moving that freed seat to a different device has a 24-hour transfer wait. The same just-deactivated device can be reactivated immediately.

Local data + manual backup

Rates, business-profile settings, project inputs, quote data and change-order items stay in browser storage. V2.1 includes manual Export / Import workspace backups so you can move work between licensed devices or recover after browser-data loss.

No automatic cloud sync

The two active devices do not automatically synchronize their local workspaces. Export on one device and import on the other when you want to continue the same project. License activation is never included in the backup file.

Who is this actually for?

Service freelancers and independent consultants who quote projects, sell recurring retainers, negotiate discounts, include revision rounds or regularly deal with extra client requests. If you only need a single hourly-rate calculation, use the free calculator instead.

Why not just use a free rate calculator?

You can — and we provide one. The paid OS is built for what happens after you know your rate: fixed project quotes, revisions, direct costs, fee recovery, retainers, discounts, rush work, margin warnings and scope changes.

Is this a spreadsheet?

No. It is a licensed web application that runs in a modern browser. Internet is required when opening the paid app so AkahOS can verify the active license.

Does the full product need the internet?

No subscription or AkahOS account is required. Internet access is required whenever the paid application is opened so the active license can be verified.

Where is my data stored?

The paid tool saves working values locally in your browser storage. V2 includes manual Export / Import workspace backups. There is no automatic cloud sync between the two licensed devices.

Do my two licensed devices stay in sync?

Not automatically. The product deliberately keeps working data local rather than storing your projects in an AkahOS cloud account. Use Export Workspace on one device and Import Workspace on the other when you want to transfer the current project. Backup files contain working data only, not your license key or activation token.

Can I work with clients in different languages?

Yes. The app includes language controls for English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German and Arabic. Each project can have its own client language and communication tone, and Quote / Change Order windows allow a document-level override without changing your global app language.

Is this accounting or tax advice?

No. It is a pricing decision aid. You choose the assumptions and remain responsible for legal, tax, accounting and commercial decisions.

Can I use it for real client work?

Yes. The standard license allows you to use it for your own freelance or business pricing. Redistribution or resale of the tool itself is not allowed.
