Terms of Use
These Terms govern akahos.com and AkahOS digital products. By purchasing, activating or using an AkahOS product, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Product license
A valid purchase gives the buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased product for the buyer's own personal business use or internal commercial work. Freelancer Pricing & Quote OS currently permits activation on up to two active devices per purchased license unless the product page or checkout explicitly states a different allowance.
2. Device activation and transfers
A license key may be required on first use. AkahOS may record a pseudonymous device identifier and activation status to enforce the active-device allowance. You may deactivate a device to free an activation slot. To discourage repeated license sharing, a freed slot is subject to a 24-hour transfer waiting period before it can be activated on a different device. The same device that was just deactivated may be reactivated immediately, which allows recovery from an accidental deactivation. Clearing browser data, changing browsers or resetting a device can create a new device identifier and may therefore be treated as a different device.
3. One-time purchase, lifetime access and license checks
Freelancer Pricing & Quote OS is sold as a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. “Lifetime access” means that a valid, non-refunded license does not expire merely because time passes and no recurring license fee is required to continue using the purchased product version. It does not automatically include other AkahOS products or separately sold future major versions.
Internet access is required to open the licensed application so AkahOS can verify the active license and securely provide the protected application logic. The one-time purchase remains a non-subscription license; requiring an internet connection does not create a recurring fee.
4. Permitted use
- Use the product for your own freelance, professional or internal business decisions.
- Enter your own data and generate quotes, calculations or client-facing outputs where the product is designed for that purpose.
- Use the license on the number of active devices stated for that product.
5. Prohibited use
- Do not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share or give away the product, protected application code or license key.
- Do not intentionally bypass, disable, tamper with or defeat license checks, device limits or access controls.
- Do not repackage the product or a substantially similar copy as a competing template, application or commercial download.
- Do not use the website or product for unlawful activity, infringement, malicious code or unauthorized access.
6. Intellectual property
Except for the limited use license granted to a purchaser, AkahOS retains its rights in the website, software, interface, branding and original product materials. Your own business data and original client content remain yours.
7. Prices and payment
Prices displayed on product pages apply at the time offered and may change for future purchases. Checkout may be operated by a third-party payment provider, which may handle taxes, currency conversion and billing information.
8. Refunds and license status
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, payment-provider rules and mandatory law. A refunded, reversed, fraudulent or chargeback-related order may have its associated license disabled.
9. No promise of results
AkahOS tools provide calculations, organization and decision support. We do not promise increased income, profit, sales, conversions or business success. Outputs depend on your inputs and decisions.
10. Not professional advice
AkahOS products are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment, regulatory or individualized financial advice.
11. Accuracy and responsibility
We design products to perform the functions described, but outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of user inputs and assumptions. Review important prices, contracts, tax decisions and business commitments before relying on them.
12. Compatibility
Browser, operating-system, storage and installation behavior can change. Product pages describe supported use as accurately as practical. Installation as a standalone PWA depends on browser/platform support; browser use may remain available even where standalone installation is not.
13. Privacy
Use is also subject to the Privacy Policy.
14. Liability and mandatory law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AkahOS is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from business decisions made using product outputs. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms for future use or future purchases. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already vested under mandatory law.
